Aspect No. 13 - El Eterno.

Within the world of A El Mismo, El Eterno is meant to be an extension to Aspect No. 1, El Pensamiento.

While El Pensamiento is the visual interpretation of Seyn Zare, the point of Origin , the dark space of Thought; El Eterno in turn represents the eternal cycle of creation and destruction. The connection of the material and the spiritual.

El Eterno. is manifested by the following future relics -

  • El Tilmàtli del Eterno - A silver and copper staple embellished jacket with a subtle skeletal motif built into the embellishment.

  • El Chaleco Plateado - An elongated silver staple embellished vest.

  • El Cinturón de Cobre - A copper staple embellished zippered belt with fringe detailing.

  • Los Pantalones Anchos- a wide leg draped high waisted trouser in cotton shirting with a built-in wrap belt featuring a fringe trim.

See below for a look into the process.

Another Aspect from Los Celestiales, personifications of celestial and cosmic forces that govern and are omni-present within Perdida.

El Jaguar, who has the universe in its eyes, El Eternal who’s role is the cycle of life, and El del Sol, an avatar for the Sun. They are channeled through Los Divinos when summoned by worship when Los Plateados y Los Cobreados come together.

El Eterno’s jacket features a motif designed into the copper staple embellishment to replicate the skeletal structure, with references to the ribs, spine, hips and shoulders. It features two hidden seam pockets, a rust silk cuff detailing, and copper buttons at the top of the sleeve.

The jacket has it’s center back, the spine, exposed so that the jacket can be worn across the shoulders, echoing back to a Tilmàtli, a cloak worn over the shoulders, a style found in the Codex Mendoza. The jacket has an accompanying elongated silver stapled vest.

The elongated fringe found in the nariguera, a call back to the visual language found within El Pensamiento. A constant line that connects back to the source, a source of beginning and end.
